Take A Moment: September & October

Greetings!

I can't believe I've only blogged twice in the month of September. I am indeed a very naughty blogger - especially considering I wrote this post only a little while ago.

So much has been going on that it is a little difficult to put into words. Life has become extremely hectic. I am entering a very demanding time at work, and as such working extremely long hours; 10/11 hour days are becoming exceedingly common! It has left very little time to write anything down and I've not cooked in around 2 weeks, which is shocking. Overall, I have become somewhat of a hermit; who emerges blinking from the halogen office lights straight into a bar to drown my sorrows. Sadly this does not make for very interesting blog content, and I apologise profusely.

I'm also undergoing somewhat of a writing rut. When I started this blog I had a clear vision of what I would like to write about, but I seem to have lost my mojo somewhat. Ironic for someone who was nominated for a Cosmo Blog Award (thanks for that, by the way - it was lovely) The ceremony was last night and it was so good to see so many lovely people. Special shout out to Dotty Dolly, who was awarded with a 'special mention' and honest to god made the most adorable 'oh my god' noise in shock when it was announced that I then proceeded to relate the story to EVERYONE AND THEIR AUNT because I thought it was so sweet. (Sorry about that) The point being, please stick with me and tell me what is wrong and, er, 'write'. (Note to self: people do not appreciate awful puns as much as you)

Here's a little list of what I've been bopping to recently - I seem to be going through a real electro-dubstep thing at the minute and everything I currently subject my eardrums to would have your gran saying 'turn that nonsense off':

The exciting news is that I am planning on writing a lot more and really getting back into the swing of my little place on the internet. I even bought a tripod! So lord knows, you might see MY FACE a little bit on the blog soon. How very exciting.
