I thought I’d share with you my thoughts on the new Perfection Lumière Chanel foundation. I’ve been wearing this foundation day-in, day-out for the past 3 weeks now and feel fully qualified to tell you a little more about it.
Perfection Lumière is a long-wear fluid based foundation with an SPF10 and full coverage. It lasts really well on the skin, and if you’ve got an oily t-zone this product will really help you out. I have combination skin myself and don’t need to apply my normal mid-day powder when I wear it. However I would not recommend it for more mature skin – you’ll need some glow and moisture.
The finish has been described as drying in other reviews I’ve read, but I’d call it a more matte-satin finish – I think this is partly due to the fact many were expecting a replacement of the discontinued Pro Lumière. I prefer this finish because it looks like real skin, whilst sorting out my imperfections. It also doesn’t transfer – hurrah, because I am sick of wiping foundation from my iPhone(!)
Have you tried Chanel foundations? What are your thoughts?
